Associates extremely unhelpful and unfriendly! Will not return! I went to this Ulta yesterday afternoon to buy eyebrow makeup and a couple other items. I typically use Anastasia brand eyebrow pencils but was interested in possibly trying another product. I waited a very long time for some assistance, all of the associates in the section were helping other customers (which is fine, I didn't mind waiting) but after they finished with the customer they were helping they either left the section or began talking with each other. So I walked up to a couple associates and waited for them to stop talking so I could get assistance but they just continued their conversation. I finally had to interrupt and ask for help. The one associate seemed irritated and asked what I needed. I told her I was looking for new eyebrow makeup and that I typically use an Anastasia brow pencil. We happened to be standing right next to the urban decay brow section and she reached down and grabbed a pencil and asked if I wanted her to use it on me. I agreed and when she was finished it looked average I was not pleased. She asked if she could grab me the product and I said I wasn't sold on that particular item and she said okay and walked away. She didn't even try to help find me a product I was happy with. So much for help! I just grabbed the two types of Anastasia pencils (there was a promotion if you spend $40 you got a free mini tweezer and clear brow gel) and went to the checkout. When I got to the checkout the cashier told me they were out of the free gift. I told her that was the only reason I was buying both pencils and the sign should be taken down if they cannot meet the promotion. She told me she would give me a free gift still. I was happy because I really needed new tweezers and had been wanting to try the clear brow gel. When I got into my car I looked in my bag and my free gift was an eyeliner and lip gloss, not what I had wanted or had been promised in the promotion. I had thought I would still be getting the items in the promotion, I just figured they might be a different brand than the ones in the promotion. I am very dissatisfied and will not return! I need new foundation and brushes soon but will not be taking my business here.
This was my first time ever visiting the store. I'm getting married in two months and really need decent make up for my big day. I was helped out by the lovely Marisa while I was in there. She was very nice, very personable, and very helpful for all of my needs. Usually I drive 45 minutes to another make up store, but I will be frequenting the store more often now because of the help that I received from her. She wasn't worried about selling me the most expensive thing that I could get. She tried to get me the best deals and the best products that I needed. Shout out to her for making my first visit a wonderful one!
I usually have a pretty good experience here. I haven’t been in awhile and today I saw they have Mac now! I was helped today by the girl (can’t remember her name ) in the Mac area, she helped with matching a new foundation, she was so helpful and super nice!

I went to Ulta the other day in search of a new foundation. One of the sales ladies came up to me and asked if she could help. I told her I had used one brand of foundation and didn't like how oily and cakey it made my skin feel. She proceeded to color match me but was then called away to do something else, so another sales lady came over to help. The other sales lady told me how this foundation she was color matching me for is super thick and does a lot to brighten your face. Not what I was looking for but I decided to go for it. I ended up buying the foundation and got to my car and when I looked in the mirror it made me look oily and cakey, and didn't even match my skin tone. I immediately went back in and returned it because it did exactly what I didn't want. The only reason I gave them a 2 instead of a 1 is because the second lady who helped me was really sweet and genuinely seemed like she wanted to help, while the other sales lady didn't even listen to my concerns.
